FREE Gmail Account Giveaway

I realize this is a bit off topic but since I'm busy uncovering the latest, greatest and hippest fab finds on the net, what would my blog be without a mention of Google's GMail?

I absolutely love my Gmail account

If you've been wanting your own Gmail account for awhile but can't get one of the hard to find invitations (you've got to be invited to get one of these accounts -- at least for now) then look no further.

Just click the COMMENT link to answer the question below and I'll give away FOUR Gmail accounts in total, one to each person with the best response:

QUESTION:

"If I could only use 1 piece of makeup from my cosmetics bag before leaving the house, it would be my _______________ because ______________.

(First tell me what product it would be, then tell me WHY you'd pick that one item!)

Make sure to include your current email address in your comment to this post so I can send you the invitation.

Good luck to everyone!

I don't need a gmail account, but the answer to your question is probably lipstick because I can feel I'm wearing it in a way I can't feel, say, a powder eyeshadow.

But I'm really only commenting at all to say I have presumptuously linked to your blog from mine - let me know if you want me to remove the link, and I'll comply immediately.

Keep sparkly!

It would be my lip balm, because otherwise my lips are all dry and cracked... and nothing looks worse than dry, cracked lips!

BTW... what exactly is so great about this GMail? Are there special features or what?

Hi Melissa,

There are numerous reasons why I prefer Gmail and I'll list a few for you:

1) You get an entire Gigabyte of space so the average person probably wouldn't need to delete any email for a year or so. It's not like Hotmail where you have to sacrifice your mail to free up space.

2) It's got the google search feature built into it, strictly for searching your email. So you don't need to mess around with complicated "find" options like Outlook Express, etc. Just type in any keyword related to what you're searching for and it'll find it.

3) You can view your messages in a similar way to you'd view posts in a forum (or this blog, for example) and in a second you can view the entire history of any email between you and someone else.

4) They offer a free Gmail notifier that sits in your system tray and notifies you when an email comes in so if you're waiting for an urgent email you can see the second it comes up.

There are many other features, too many to list.

If you want to check it out just let me know. I'm happy to share an invitation!

Best Wishes,
Lisa
